2026 Honda Hornet CB750 with E-Clutch for US market

Adding to the E-clutch range of motorcycles is the 2026 Honda Hornet CB750 E-Clutch, available in the US market from February next year. The standard gearbox Honda Hornet CB750 is sold in Malaysia as a 2025 model, and priced at RM49,999.

Honda currently has CB650R and CBR650R as E-Clutch equipped models in Malaysia, with inline four-cylinder engines, priced at RM47,999 and RM49,999, respectively. There is also the US market Honda Rebel 300 cruiser with E-Clutch, released in October of last year.

Added to the Hornet CB750 for next year’s riding season is a belly fairing, sharpening the looks of the 3036 Hornet over the 2025 model. This is alongside two new colours – Black and Matte Nightshade Blue.

No changes in the specifications sheet for the Hornet CB750, with power coming from a liquid-cooled parallel-twin with overhead cam and displacing 755 cc. Power output is claimed to be 90 hp at 9,500 rpm with 74.4 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm.

The CB750 Hornet is also the first Honda E-Clutch model with throttle-by-wire, which offers enhanced electronic control. This allows for three default riding modes – Sport, Standard and Rain – and two customisable user modes, with three levels of Engine Power (EP), Engine Brake (EB) and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) with integrated Wheelie Control (which can be switched off if desired).

Front suspension uses a Showa 41mm Separate Function Fork Big Piston (SFF-BP) inverted fork. The functions are divided, with a Big Piston pressure separation damper in one leg and the spring preload mechanism in the other.

Braking is Donne with twin 296 mm diameter discs and Nissin radial-mount, four-piston hydraulic callipers, with a. single disc and 240 mm disc in the rear, while two-channel ABS is standard equipment. Weight for the Hornet CB750 is listed at 195.5 kg with 15-litres of fuel in the tank, while seat height is set at 795 mm.
