Sindh Govt Approves 600+ EV Charging Stations for Clean Mobility

KARACHI: The Sindh government has approved a major initiative to install over 600 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across the province. This marks an important step toward promoting clean and sustainable transportation. 

The approval was granted to ADM Group of China during a meeting with Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Sindh’s Local Government Minister. He highlighted that the project aligns with the province’s goals of reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable development.

The project will now be forwarded to the Special Secretary of the Local Government & Highways & Transport Department for further implementation. 

In order to complete the operational framework and start execution, a follow-up meeting with the CEO of ADM Group is anticipated in early December. 

This project is expected to significantly contribute to the advancement of the region’s environmental objectives and the transformation of Sindh’s transport industry.
