Another Punjab District Gets Electric Bus Service

Punjab has expanded its electric transport network by launching a new Electro bus service in Rajanpur City.

The Punjab Transport Company introduced the service to provide affordable and eco-friendly travel for residents.

The air-conditioned buses charge a flat fare of Rs. 20. They offer free Wi-Fi, mobile charging ports, and wheelchair access to improve passenger comfort and accessibility.

The Electro buses operate on a loop route that connects major city points. These include Grid Chowk, Govt College Rajanpur, Chowk Allahabad, Circuit House, DC Office, Katchery Chowk, GPO, Fatehpur Adda, and Mansoorabad Colony.

Officials say the service will cut traffic pressure and reduce pollution. They added that the project aims to deliver safe, reliable, and modern transport for daily commuters.

Authorities have urged residents to use the Electro buses for cleaner and low-cost city travel.
