Audi A2 Electric Model to Replace A1 and Q2 in 2026
Audi is reviving its fan-favourite A2 nameplate as a fully electric car. The company plans a global reveal before the end of 2026. The new Audi A2 EV will replace the Audi A1 and Q2 in the lineup.
Audi aims it at the compact premium electric segment. Reports place the starting price near €34,000, making it Audi’s most affordable EV. Sales should begin in early 2027.
The Audi A2 EV keeps design cues from the original model but adds a modern crossover-style shape. It features a short bonnet and a split rear window. Audi will build the car on the Volkswagen MEB platform. Buyers can expect battery options between 58kWh and 79kWh.
Power output will range from 168bhp to 282bhp. The top variant could deliver a driving range of more than 595km. Audi has not confirmed a Pakistan launch yet. However, Pakistan’s expanding EV policies and charging network improve its chances.

Industry analysts say the car’s pricing and compact premium appeal suit emerging markets. Pakistani buyers may access the A2 EV through private imports or a future official launch after its global debut.
