Avatar 11 First Look Review: Is This Pakistan’s Most Luxurious EV ? - Carr.pk

As the sun sets in 2025, the Pakistani automotive landscape is witnessing a seismic shift. It has been six years since Master Changan Motors first stepped into our market, and they didn’t just enter, they disrupted.

From introducing Euro 6 technology to becoming a top-tier brand in terms of sales, Changan has officially transitioned from the “new kid on the block” to a dominant force.

But today, we aren’t talking about your everyday commuters. We are looking at a “Halo Brand” that looks like it flew straight out of a sci-fi movie and landed in Pakistan: The Avatar 11.

A Pedigree of Giants: Changan, Huawei, and CATL

The Avatar 11 isn’t just a car; it’s a tech masterpiece born from a “dream team” collaboration:

  • Changan: Provided world-class engineering and manufacturing.
  • CATL: The global leader in battery tech supplied the powerhouse.
  • Huawei: Integrated the AI, operating system (OS), and smart driving features.

With over 160 years of history and a presence in 60+ countries, Changan’s global footprint is massive. In 2024 alone, they sold 2.2 million units. Now, they are bringing that global excellence to Pakistan’s premium segment.

You can watch the deatailed video here:

Exterior: The “UFO” on Wheels

At first glance, the Avatar 11 looks like a spaceship. Its design language, crafted by Nader (who has famous BMW designs under his belt), is a mix of futuristic minimalism and aggressive luxury.

  • The Lights: Finding the headlights is a challenge! They are integrated seamlessly, featuring 108 LEDs in an “F-style” DRL setup.
  • The Profile: Massive 22-inch alloy wheels in piano black with Brembo brakes peeking through in acid green.
  • The Details: Frameless windows, motorized hidden door handles, panoramic sunroof and a coupe-style silhouette that gives off Aston Martin and Rolls-Royce vibes.
  • Active Aero: A motorized rear spoiler that adjusts based on your speed for better stability.

Interior: A Premium Sky Lounge

Step inside, and the world goes silent. The cabin is wrapped in Nappa leather with a unique color palette of deep blue and maroon, accented by golden framing. It doesn’t feel like a car; it feels like a private jet. Both driving and passenger seats are 10-way auto and 4-way support, heated, ventilated, massage and memory seats.

Tech at Your Fingertips

The dashboard is a tech-lover’s playground featuring three massive screens:

  1. 15.6-inch Center Infotainment (Powered by Huawei).
  2. 10.25-inch Driver Instrument Cluster.
  3. 10.25-inch Passenger Display.

The car features a Meridian Sound System with 25 speakers, providing an auditory experience that is second to none. There’s even a built-in fragrance dispenser and a dynamic ambient lighting system that reacts to your music.

Performance and Range: No More Range Anxiety

The variant we explored is the Long Range Mid-Variant, and the specs are impressive:

  • Battery: 116 kWh (CATL).
  • Range: A staggering 680 km (NEDC), which translates to a solid 500 km+ in real-world conditions.
  • Power: 302 hp and 370 Nm of torque.
  • Charging: 50W wireless charger, charges 20% to 80% in just 25 minutes. (The upcoming Top Variant does it in 15!)
  • V2L (Vehicle to Load): Use your car as a massive power bank to run appliances at 3.3 kW.
  • 0-100 km speed in 6.6 seconds

Safety and Intelligence

Equipped with Level 2 ADAS, the Avatar 11 is watching out for you. It includes:

  • 360-degree camera with “Clear Chassis” (540-view).
  • Adaptive Cruise Control and Auto-Park.
  • Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, and Blind Spot Monitoring.
  • Fatigue sensors to ensure the driver is alert.

The Verdict

Master Changan promised to bring the future to Pakistan, and with the Avatar 11, they have delivered. This is a D-segment SUV that challenges the status quo of luxury.

It’s not just about getting from point A to B; it’s about the experience, the tech, and the statement you make on the road.
