Balochistan has launched a subsidized electric scooter scheme to provide affordable transport for students, working women, and the general public. The provincial government signed an agreement with the National Bank of Pakistan to offer electric scooters on easy installment plans.

Officials finalized the agreement at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat in Quetta. Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti attended the signing ceremony along with provincial ministers, senior officials, and representatives of the National Bank of Pakistan.

Chief Minister Bugti said the subsidized electric scooter scheme will ease daily travel problems, especially for students and working women. He said the initiative promotes safe commuting and encourages the use of environment-friendly transport.
