Balochistan to Launch Crackdown on Non-Custom-Paid Vehicles - Carr.pk

A decision has been made to take action against non–custom-paid vehicles in Balochistan.

Following reports of such vehicles being used in terrorist activities, authorities are considering a full-scale operation against non–custom-paid vehicles in the province.

Police, Customs, and the Frontier Corps (FC) will participate in the crackdown along with the Excise and Taxation Department. Instructions have already been issued to personnel of these forces across the province. In this regard, Customs officials raided a warehouse in Mastung and recovered 11 non–custom-paid vehicles worth 81 million rupees.

Meanwhile, officials from the Excise and Taxation Department say that they have profiled more than 40,000 non–custom-paid vehicles in the province, and teams are now taking action against such vehicles on a daily basis.
