Neue Klasse iX3 Sells Faster Than BMW Planned - Carr.pk

BMW is facing an unusual problem: demand outpacing supply. According to a report by ArenaEV, the upcoming BMW iX3 based on the Neue Klasse platform is already sold out globally through 2026, forcing the automaker to pause new orders in several markets.

This is particularly notable because the iX3 represents BMW’s first mass-market SUV built on the Neue Klasse architecture, which promises major gains in range, charging speed, and software integration.

Industry analysts see the sell-out as both a success story and a logistical headache for the German brand.

Why the iX3 Is Selling Out

With the Neue Klasse iX3, BMW claims up to 30 percent faster charging, improved efficiency, and a fully redesigned digital cockpit. These upgrades, combined with tightening emissions regulations in Europe and rising EV acceptance worldwide, have pushed demand beyond BMW’s initial production planning.

Pakistan Context: Neue Klasse Arrives Early

Pakistan entered the Neue Klasse conversation earlier than many expected. BMW officially launched the Neue Klasse lineup locally in January 2026, with the iX3 becoming the first and, so far, the only Neue Klasse model available in the country.

While global markets are now grappling with long wait times, Pakistan’s early adoption puts local buyers in a relatively advantageous position, at least for existing allocations.

What Happens Next

BMW is expected to gradually scale up production, but new order slots for the iX3 may not open until late 2026. For Pakistani buyers, early market entry may prove timely, but future availability will depend on BMW’s global production ramp-up and local allocation strategy.
