Chery Introduces Hybrid Tiggo 8 SUV for Pakistani Buyers
Chery has officially unveiled the locally assembled Tiggo 8 PHEV in Pakistan, marking a major addition to the country’s growing hybrid SUV market.
The new model features a plug-in hybrid powertrain, premium interior, and modern design, offering advanced performance and comfort for Pakistani buyers.
While Chery Pakistan has not yet revealed the official price or delivery date, the launch signals the company’s commitment to expanding local assembly and hybrid technology in the country.
The Chery Tiggo 8 PHEV delivers a combined 543 horsepower and 830 Nm of torque. It comes with an 18.3 kWh battery, providing up to 77 kilometers of electric-only range and a total range of about 1,020 kilometers. The vehicle supports 40 kW DC fast charging, which can recharge the battery from 30% to 80% in just 20 minutes.
Interior highlights include a 15.6-inch 2.5K infotainment screen, panoramic sunroof, 19-inch alloy wheels, and a Sony 12-speaker sound system. Safety features include 10 airbags, ADAS driver assistance, and a 360-degree camera. The SUV also offers ventilated electric seats, dual-zone climate control, and ambient lighting for added comfort.
