As we reported earlier, the time has come. Chery has officially launched the locally assembled Tiggo 9 PHEV in Pakistan. This model serves as the company’s flagship SUV, positioned as the largest and most expensive option in its lineup.
Background Context
The vehicle was first unveiled at the PAPS Auto Show in November last year, where it was displayed alongside the Tiggo 7 and Tiggo 8 PHEVs.
This marks the second release in Chery’s locally assembled Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) series in Pakistan, following the Tiggo 8 PHEV, which was launched earlier this year in January at a price of Rs. 1.09 crore. That price was subsequently increased by Rs. 300,000 in early February.
