Chery’s TIGGO PHEV Pre-Booking Turns Out to Be Pre-Registration
Chery Pakistan announced on social media channels what it called the opening of “pre-bookings” for its upcoming TIGGO PHEV series, after showcasing the Tiggo 7, Tiggo 8, and Tiggo 9 SUVs at PAPS last month. The announcement created the impression that Chery was beginning limited early bookings that might lead to priority deliveries.
However, after confirming with the company, it turns out this is not a pre-booking in the usual sense.
Chery clarified that the process is actually a “pre-registration” or “register your interest” step. Customers can fill out an online form on the website, and the company will notify them once official bookings for the TIGGO PHEV models begin.
This means:
- No payment is required
- No reservation spot is secured
- No early delivery advantage is involved
It is simply a way for interested customers to join a waitlist and receive the first update when actual bookings open.
Chery has yet to reveal the prices, booking amounts, or delivery timelines for the locally assembled TIGGO PHEV SUVs.
