Contraflow on Elite Highway BSP to Putrajaya tonight

Elite Highway users, take note. PLUS has announced a contraflow on a stretch of the highway between Bandar Saujana Putra and Putrajaya. The exact location is KM18 to KM19.5, and while it involves the direction towards KLIA, the other direction has reduced lanes, so all should take note.

The closure is from 11pm tonight (February 11) to 5am the tomorrow morning, and it’s for the bridge works by a third party contractor.

Based on the graphic above, you can see that three lanes plus the emergency lane heading towards Putrajaya will be closed, and even the fast lane on the other direction will be blocked off for as the work area. All Putrajaya-bound traffic will be diverted into one lane, which leaves two lanes and a diversion for Shah Alam/Subang-bound traffic.

This is quite a big one, so plan your journey if you’re heading to the airport. For everyone else, follow the road signs and personnel on the ground when in the area. Drive safe.
