Just one week after the official launch of the locally assembled Tank 500 HEV and PHEV on January 20th, Sazgar has announced an increase in delivery wait times.

Delivery Timelines Doubled

While the SUVs were initially introduced with a promised waiting period of 3 to 4 months, the company has now pushed those dates back by several months. According to the updated schedule, the new tentative delivery timelines are:

  • Tank 500 PHEV: 6 to 8 months

  • Tank 500 HEV: 7 to 9 months

Key Details

  • Reason Cited: Sazgar attributes the delay to “unprecedented response and exceptionally high demand” for the vehicles.

  • PHEV Incentive: To compensate for the wait, the company is including a 7kW charger for all present and future Tank 500 PHEV bookings.

  • Effective Date: These revised timelines apply to all bookings confirmed from January 27th, 2026, onwards.
