Islamabad Launches Mandatory Registration for Delivery, Courier Riders

The Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad, Capt (R) Hamza Humayun, has directed all delivery and courier riders to complete their official registration immediately.

Authorities have warned that strict legal action will be taken against unregistered riders, aiming to enhance citizen safety and ensure full compliance with traffic regulations.

The move affects all riders working for services such as food delivery apps, courier services, and online package riders. Officials emphasized that registration is mandatory and failure to comply will result in fines and other legal consequences.

CTO Capt Hamza Humayun highlighted that the initiative is designed to make Islamabad’s roads safer for both citizens and delivery riders while enforcing traffic laws more effectively.
