According to the Islamabad Police, “Traffic traveling from Rawal Dam Chowk to Trammri will be diverted via N-8 Road, passing through Mohra Noor, before re-entering Park Road.”
Similarly, “Vehicles heading from Trammri to Rawal Dam Chowk will be redirected through Chaikhana to the CDA Nursery, with two temporary roads leading them back to Park Road.”
In addition to these diversions, the police suggest that commuters consider using Lehtrar Road, Khanna Bridge, and the Expressway as alternative routes to reach Islamabad.
The police further warned that “heavy traffic congestion is expected on Park Road during the course of the construction,” urging drivers to plan for an additional 20 to 30 minutes of travel time.
