Islamabad Police Issues Traffic Advisory for February 5
Islamabad Police have issued a traffic advisory for today, warning commuters of possible diversions and heavy congestion during Basant celebrations. Authorities urged drivers to plan alternative routes to avoid delays.
Traffic diversions will be enforced from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM on major roads, including the Expressway, Murree Road, and Club Road. Motorists from Rawalpindi to Islamabad are advised to use Rawal Road, Ninth Avenue, Faqir Appi Road, and Srinagar Highway. Those traveling from Islamabad to Rawalpindi should take Zero Point and Srinagar Highway via Ninth Avenue.
Travelers from Murree and Bara Kahu toward Islamabad are recommended to use Korang Road, Bani Gala, Park Road, and Lehtrar Road, while those from Serena and Bahara Kahu to Rawalpindi should prefer Park Road and Khanna routes.
