ITP Starts Registration for Female Driving School URAAN - Carr.pk

Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has officially launched its first-ever ladies-only driving school, “URAAN,” offering professional driving training in a safe and respectful environment for women across the capital.

The initiative aims to empower women by providing structured training for cars, bikes, and scooties, along with comprehensive guidance on traffic rules and road safety. The URAAN program is designed to help women drive with confidence while ensuring full compliance with traffic laws.

According to ITP officials, the female driving school will operate under the supervision of professional and trained ITP instructors, ensuring high standards of instruction and safety. The program focuses not only on vehicle handling but also on responsible road behavior and defensive driving techniques.

The URAAN initiative marks a significant step toward promoting women’s independence and increasing their participation in safe driving practices. Authorities believe the program will also contribute to improved traffic discipline and road safety in Islamabad.
