J7 Price Up by Rs. 500,000, Is Deepal S05 Now the Affordable Choice?

JAECOO has raised the price of its J7 PHEV in Pakistan by Rs. 500,000, bringing the new price to Rs. 10,499,000. The previous rate of Rs. 9,999,000 was an introductory launch offer that remained valid only until 30th November, as announced at the time of the vehicle’s launch.

The automaker shared at the first locally assembled rollout event that over 3,000+ units of the J7 have been booked since reservations began on 21st October, averaging around 70 bookings per day.

At the current price point, the J7’s closest competitor is the Deepal S05, which still stands at Rs. 9,999,000. With the J7’s price increase, the S05 now holds the lower price point. It remains to be seen whether Deepal will adjust its pricing as well or maintain the existing tag to strengthen its position.
