Jaffer Express Resumes After Five Days - Carr.pk

The Pakistan Railways has restored the Jaffer Express service between Quetta and Peshawar after a five-day suspension, officials confirmed on Thursday.

Railway authorities said the train service had been suspended since January 31 due to security concerns in Balochistan. The restoration comes as the situation in the region stabilizes, allowing passenger trains to resume operations safely.

In addition, the passenger train to Chaman has also resumed after five days and is currently en route to its destination, the authorities added.

However, railway officials warned that the Bolan Mail service from Karachi to Quetta will remain suspended until February 12 due to ongoing security challenges in the province.

“The resumption of Jaffer Express and other services marks a positive step towards restoring normalcy in train operations for passengers traveling across Balochistan,” said a Pakistan Railways spokesperson.
