Karachi Traffic Police Issue Over 2.34 Lakh E-Challans in One Day

The 72nd day of the e-challan campaign by Karachi Traffic Police has been completed, during which strict monitoring of traffic on the city’s main roads is being carried out.

Under the supervision of the DIG Traffic office, strict action was taken against those violating traffic rules.

According to the traffic police, more than 234,000 e-challans were issued in a single day for traffic violations, including 2,800 challans issued to government vehicles and police mobiles. In addition, action was also taken against heavy traffic, and over 4,000 challans were issued to dumpers, trucks, oil tankers, and water tankers.

Traffic police officials have advised citizens to avoid wrong-way driving and over-speeding, as cameras are monitoring traffic 24/7.

According to officials, the purpose of the e-challan campaign is to ensure compliance with traffic rules among citizens and to reduce accidents.
