KP Govt Launches 10,000 E-Rickshaws for Peshawar

The KP government plans to introduce 10,000 electric rickshaws in Peshawar to provide affordable, eco-friendly public transport. Officials discussed phased implementation, financial support, technical frameworks, and environmental benefits.

The initiative aims to reduce air pollution, fossil fuel dependence, and travel costs for commuters. Smart battery technology, digital registration, and monitoring systems will ensure efficiency and transparency.
