Lahore Launches New Speedo Bus Route Connecting Key Areas

The Punjab Masstransit Authority has announced the launch of a new Speedo urban bus route in Lahore to enhance public transport connectivity across the city.

Starting February 14, 2026, Route 27 will operate from Jinnah Bus Terminal to Bahria Town, covering a distance of 23 kilometers under the Integrated Urban Public Transport system.

The new route will pass through key areas, including Thokar Niaz Baig, Daewoo Terminal, Doctor Society, Eden Canal Villas, Basco Society, Muhafiz Town Market, Rajput Town, EME Society, Aabpara Market, Green Fort 2, Saleem Memorial Hospital, P&D Society, NESPAK Society, Izmir Town, Jubilee Town, Mian Chowk, Indus Hospital, Shahkam Chowk, Canal Garden, and Alwaiz Tower, before terminating at Bahria Town.

Officials said the introduction of Speedo Route 27 is part of the Punjab Masstransit Authority Act 2015 initiative to improve connectivity between major residential and commercial areas in Lahore, providing commuters with a faster and more reliable public transport option.
