67 Crore Ki Car, 28,000 Ka Challan: Lamborghini Meets Faisalabad CTP
In a country where a 1,001-horsepower supercar is the ultimate status symbol, the owner of Pakistan’s most expensive car just got a very public reminder that the law applies to everyone. The Lamborghini Revuelto, a purple “Viola Pasifae” beast worth a staggering PKR 67 crore, was recently flagged by the City Traffic Police (CTP) Faisalabad.
It turns out that while that kind of money buys you a V12 engine and a 0–100 km/h time of 2.5 seconds, it doesn’t buy a way out of a traffic ticket.
The “No Exceptions” Policy in Faisalabad
The CTP Faisalabad is currently on a mission to clean up the city’s roads. Their latest campaign focuses on “indiscriminate action,” meaning they are pulling over everyone, regardless of what they drive.
The Revuelto was reportedly issued a challan for three common violations seen on Pakistani roads: tinted windows (black glass), use of illegal flashlights, and a non-standard (fancy) number plate.
According to the Punjab Traffic Police, authorities are strictly cracking down on cars without official government-issued plates or with illegal window films. For the traffic wardens in Faisalabad, the Lamborghini was just another car on the list, even though it paid over PKR 43 crore in taxes just to get into the country.
Supercar Speed vs. Traffic Rules
Social media users found the irony hard to miss. Many joked that the most expensive car in Pakistan’s history was pulled over for the same things as a local Suzuki Mehran: dark windows and a custom plate.
It’s a rare moment where a billionaire and an everyday commuter face the same struggle on the road.
A Clear Message for All Drivers
The City Traffic Police Faisalabad has been very active lately, targeting unregistered vehicles, illegal flashlights, and “sample” number plates. By fining such a famous car, the department is sending a clear message: the rules for number plates and tints apply equally to a 70cc bike and a 1,000-horsepower hypercar.
