New car sales in Lebanon are down a daunting -15.3% year-on-year in 2025 to just 20,710 units. It was however much worse earlier in the year as sales were down -40.5% over Q1 and -29.7% over H1. Toyota (-21.7%) reduces its share from 40.9% to 37.8% and is followed by Nissan (-69.7%), completely imploding, and Mitsubishi (+17.4%) like last year. Nissan single-handedly pulls the entire market down. Kia (+47.9%) shines bright and is up to #4, dislodging Lexus (-28.8%) in paltry shape. Jetour (+171.9%) cracks the Top 10 at #6, with Mazda (+95.9%), Hyundai (+64.8%), MG (+62.3%), Isuzu (+57.8%) and Renault (+56.4%) all in outstanding shape.

Looking at the models charts, the Toyota Hilux (-7.4%) takes the lead at 10.4% share, toppling the Toyota Land Cruiser (-53.3%) halving its sales year-on-year. According to our records, this is the first time the Hilux ranks #1 in Lebanon, at least since we started following Lebanon in 2010. The Prado (+20.6%) is up three spots to make the podium 100% Toyota. The Mitsubishi L200 Petrol (+118.4%) surges to #4 ahead of the Nissan Sunny (-85.4%) and Patrol (+60%) in complete freefall. The Jetour T2 (+224.8%), Kia Picanto (+142.7%) and Toyota Raize (+102.2%) also impress in the remainder of the Top 10.
