MINI Cooper Launched in Pakistan: Pricing, Specs and Booking Details
The iconic British brand MINI has landed in Pakistan. Dewan Motors, the official BMW importer in Pakistan, has introduced the brand with a lineup of three new MINI models: the Countryman, the Aceman, and the legendary Cooper.
While we will bring you detailed coverage of all three models, let’s start with the one that started it all, the MINI Cooper.
A Brief History of MINI
Here’s what defines MINI’s identity before we look at the new Cooper’s specifications. Originally a British automotive brand founded in 1969, MINI is known for its small, agile cars, famous for their “go-kart”- like handling and retro-modern aesthetic.
Since 2000, the brand has been owned by the German automotive giant BMW Group. This means that while MINI retains its British soul and design heritage, it benefits from BMW’s engineering, build quality, and technology under the bonnet.
The New MINI Cooper in Pakistan
Dewan Motors has brought the latest generation of the Cooper to the Pakistani market. The Cooper is the brand’s classic 3-door hatchback, a premium subcompact car famous for its agile handling and timeless design.
The car is available with two distinct powertrain options: Electric and Petrol.
The lineup is further divided to offer variety:
- Electric Cooper: Available in two variants.
- Petrol Cooper: Also available in two variants.
Booking, Delivery and Pricing Details
Bookings are now open with a 10% down payment of the total car value.
It is important to note that the company has stated that pricing is in Euros. The final retail price in PKR is subject to the exchange rate at the time of payment. As for delivery, it is expected between August and September.
