NADRA Launches Online Biometric Verification for Sindh Vehicle Transfers

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) and the Sindh Excise Department have introduced a new system for vehicle transfers. This system allows people to do biometric verification using a mobile phone instead of visiting a registration centre.

Key Features:

• Mobile Verification: Buyers and sellers can use the Pak-ID app on their phones to complete biometric verification.
• Process: After verifying in the app, users still need to visit the excise department to complete the transfer paperwork.
• Security: The system uses digital identity verification to confirm the identity of buyers and sellers.
• Mandatory Rule: The Sindh Excise Department is making this verification mandatory in stages. Eventually, both the buyer and seller will have to do it.

How to Use It:

1. Download the Pak-ID app on Android or iOS.
2. Use the phone’s camera to scan fingerprints or perform facial recognition.
