Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan announced the construction of the Guru Nanak Expressway to connect Kartarpur and Nankana Sahib with Pakistan’s motorway network.

The National Highway Authority (NHA) will immediately begin building the Sialkot-Kartarpur stretch.

The expressway will benefit not only Sikh pilgrims but also residents of Narang Mandi and Baddo Malhi.

Minister Abdul Aleem Khan directed NHA to develop world-class facilities along the route, including three, four, and five-star hotels, ensuring modern amenities for travelers.

The federal government also plans global marketing campaigns targeting Sikh communities in London, Canada, and the USA.

Road shows will promote investment opportunities at holy Sikh sites, while the Kartarpur and Nankana Sahib projects have been termed “game changers” for religious tourism in Pakistan.
