Pakistan Auto Sales Jump 38% in 2025 - Carr.pk

Pakistan auto industry vehicle sales recorded a strong rebound in 2025, rising 38 percent year-on-year, according to data shared by major automobile manufacturers.

The sharp increase reflects improving market sentiment, easier financing conditions, and renewed consumer interest after a prolonged slowdown.

Leading automakers including Suzuki, Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, and Haval reported notable growth in sales across multiple segments, from small hatchbacks to hybrid and SUV models.

Industry sources say demand picked up steadily during the year as supply chains stabilized and booking delays eased.

Government reforms have also played a key role in supporting the sector. Authorities plan to gradually reduce import tariffs by FY2030, a move aimed at encouraging competition and bringing down vehicle prices.

Analysts believe these measures could make cars more affordable for middle-income buyers over the next few years.

At the same time, electric vehicles (EVs) are gaining ground in the local market. Tax incentives, reduced duties, and lower registration costs have helped boost EV adoption, particularly in urban areas.

Automakers are expected to expand their electric and hybrid lineups as policy support continues.
