PAVE Subsidy Test Batch Goes Live for E-Bikes and Rickshaws

Following our earlier report on the launch of subsidy transfers under the PAVE scheme for electric bikes and rickshaws, the government has completed its first test batch of payments, signaling that the rollout is now underway.

Officials confirmed that the initial test batch included 15 applicants, all of whom have successfully received their subsidies in their bank accounts. Authorities have stated that the pace of disbursements will increase in the coming days to cover more beneficiaries across the country.

The PAVE program provides financial support for self-financed and bank-leased purchases of electric two- and three-wheelers, aiming to make clean mobility more affordable, reduce emissions, and promote local electric vehicle manufacturing.
