Peugeot, the French Car, Strengthens Its Base in Pakistan - Carr.pk

Peugeot continues to strengthen its presence in Pakistan as the country’s auto market gradually shifts toward SUVs.

The French brand entered Pakistan in 2022 through Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC), targeting growing demand for compact and premium utility vehicles.

The company locally assembles the Peugeot 2008, Pakistan’s only European-branded SUV produced domestically.

LMC manufactures the vehicle at its modern plant equipped with a robotic paint shop, helping maintain consistent build and finish quality.

The company has also added new exterior colours, including Selenium Grey, to align local models with global offerings.

Positioned in the fast-growing B-SUV segment, the Peugeot 2008 targets urban buyers who prefer a mix of efficiency, design, and modern features.

LMC has supported the brand’s growth by expanding its dealer network and introducing regular product updates.

In its latest move, LMC launched the 2025 Peugeot 2008 facelift in Pakistan, bringing the locally assembled model closer to Peugeot’s global design and feature standards.

The update signals a long-term product strategy rather than a short-term refresh.

Industry sources say LMC is also reviewing options to introduce more Stellantis brands in Pakistan, although no official announcement has been made.
