Punjab E-Taxi Scheme Balloting Date Confirmed

The Punjab government has finally confirmed the balloting schedule for the E Taxi Scheme. Thousands of applicants have been waiting to find out when the selection will take place. The balloting is set for the last week of November and preparations are already underway. The Transport Department has sent all applicant data to the Bank of Punjab which will conduct the computerized draw.

The response to the scheme has been overwhelming. More than twenty eight thousand applicants have registered for the program. This huge interest shows how important the scheme is for people looking for stable earning opportunities as well as for those who support the shift toward cleaner transport options in the province.

Once the balloting results are announced selected applicants will be contacted by the Bank of Punjab. They will be required to submit their down payment and complete the remaining formalities.
