Punjab Enters Satellite Era With First DSNG & OB Van

Punjab DGPR entered the satellite era with the launch of its first DSNG & OB Van, inaugurated by CM Maryam Nawaz.

The van is equipped with AI-powered audio-video transmission for high-quality live news and outdoor broadcasting.

The project will enable blackout-free satellite uplink, mobile live streaming, and field-based production.

Drones powered by AI can also be integrated with the van for advanced news coverage.

CM Maryam Nawaz inspected the van and met with DGPR staff.

Provincial Information Minister Azma Bokhari briefed officials on the van’s capabilities, highlighting its use across Punjab for mobile news coverage.

The DGPR ground station is now functional, marking a major upgrade in Punjab’s broadcasting infrastructure.
