Punjab Extends Green Tractor Phase 3 Deadline
The Punjab government has extended the deadline for applications for the CM Punjab Green Tractor Program Phase 3 until January 31, responding to high demand from farmers.
Under this phase, 10,000 tractors with 50–65 horsepower will be provided to eligible farmers to support modern farming practices. The initiative follows the slogan: “A prosperous farmer makes a prosperous Punjab.”
Farmers can apply online through the Punjab Agriculture Department’s official website www.agripunjab.gov.pk or via the direct link: https://gts.punjab.gov.pk.
Earlier, Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the program were successfully completed. In the first phase, 9,500 tractors were allotted, and Maryam Nawaz personally called several winners to congratulate them. The second phase concluded in December 2025.
Under the scheme, farmers owning seven acres or more can receive tractors ranging from 50–125 horsepower, with medium-power tractors getting Rs500,000 subsidy and high-power tractors Rs1 million. The full program will provide 20,000 tractors across Punjab.
The scheme has seen an overwhelming response, with 282,000 farmers deemed eligible out of 734,000 applications. Around 98% of applicants opted for locally made tractors, reflecting confidence in domestic production and a boost to local industry.

Maryam Nawaz stated that the program shows the government’s commitment to directly support farmers, ensuring modern machinery reaches those who need it most, and strengthening Punjab’s agricultural sector for a prosperous future.
