Punjab Govt Announces Final Application Date for Green Tractor Scheme
The Govt of Punjab has officially declared the final deadline for farmers to submit applications under the Green Tractor Scheme Phase III, aimed at providing heavily subsidised tractors to agricultural producers across the province.
Under the scheme, eligible farmers can apply until January 20, 2026, to receive support in purchasing modern tractors at reduced prices as part of the govt’s effort to boost agricultural productivity and mechanisation.
The announcement, shared by the Govt of Punjab’s official social media account, urges farmers to complete their applications before the cut‑off date to benefit from this opportunity.
According to the Agriculture Department, once the application window closes, officials will verify submissions and conduct a transparent balloting process to allocate tractors to successful applicants.
The Green Tractor Scheme aims to support small and medium farmers by providing tractors at subsidised rates, helping reduce manual labour, increase crop yields, and modernise farm operations.
Subsidies under past phases have included significant financial support per tractor to make machinery more accessible.

Farmers are advised to use the official online portal at gts.punjab.gov.pk to apply and ensure all required land ownership and identity documents are submitted before January 20, 2026.
