Rawalpindi Electric Bus Service Launched on Four Key Routes

The electric bus service has been formally launched in Rawalpindi under the Punjab Chief Minister’s Green Initiative.

In the initial phase, the buses will operate on four main routes: from Fawara Chowk to Koral Chowk, from Saddar to Noonhal Colony, from Marrir Chowk to Motorway Chowk, and from Saddar to Qabristan Chowk.

According to the administration, this modern and eco-friendly bus service will provide citizens with a comfortable, peaceful, and low-cost travel option. The administration added that a mobile application has also been introduced with the electro bus service, through which passengers can easily obtain route information.

In addition, passengers can recharge their travel cards and benefit from other services related to the system. Citizens have expressed happiness over the launch of the service.
