Road Closures in Karachi Explained for Motorists - Carr.pk

Authorities have announced road closures in Karachi due to ongoing construction and expressway projects.

Traffic police have advised commuters to plan ahead and expect delays over the coming days.

Traffic police will close Jahangir Road for one week starting midnight tonight. The road connects Teen Hatti with Gurumandir.

Officials have arranged alternate routes to manage traffic flow.

Heavy and commercial vehicles will follow separate diversions. Traffic wardens will remain deployed in surrounding areas.

Authorities will also close both sides of the Malir River Bridge on the National Highway on Sunday. The closure will remain in effect from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM due to Malir Expressway construction.

Vehicles traveling from Quaidabad must take a U-turn at Shahrah-e-Bhutto. A temporary diversion will operate near Moulvi Hotel. Traffic police will guide vehicles during peak hours.

Officials have partially closed the road from Ayesha Mosque to Defence via Shahrah-e-Bhutto Interchange. Traffic moving from Ayesha Mosque toward Creek will continue without disruption.
