Sazgar Records Highest Monthly Sales in January 2026

Sazgar has started the year on a high note, recording its highest-ever four-wheeler monthly sales in January 2026.
According to the latest data from Topline Research, the automaker sold 2,004 units in January 2026, a massive 72% month-on-month (MoM) increase from 1,165 units in December 2025.
The surge was not limited to sales; production volumes also rose. Sazgar produced 1,716 units in January, marking a 32% MoM increase over December’s 1,300 units.
On a cumulative basis, the company’s performance for the 7MFY26 (July-25 to Jan-26) remains strong. Total sales for the period stood at 9,214 units, a notable 49% growth compared to the same period last year. Similarly, production for 7MFY26 reached 9,416 units, up 44% year on year.

The “New Year” Effect
While the record-breaking numbers paint a positive picture, market analysts suggest that the sharp spike in January is partly driven by seasonal purchasing behavior rather than a sudden shift in organic demand.
It is a common trend in the local automotive market for buyers to defer vehicle purchases in November and December. Customers typically hold off on finalizing deals until January to secure a 2026 registration year.
Despite the seasonal push, Sazgar’s consistent year-on-year growth indicates a good foothold in the market.
