Japan’s auto giants maintain a stronghold on Pakistan’s roads, with Suzuki, Toyota, and HCAR leading the 2025 sales charts. According to Topline Securities, Suzuki PSMC topped the rankings with 81,237 units sold, followed by Toyota’s Indus Motors at 41,415 units, and HCAR at 23,251 units.
While Japanese brands continue to dominate, Chinese automakers are gradually making inroads into the local market. Changan recorded 16,500 units, and Sazgar sold 13,483 units in 2025, signaling a growing competition that could challenge the Japanese supremacy in the coming years.
The ranking of top auto assemblers for 2025 highlights consumer preference for reliability and established brands, but analysts note that aggressive pricing and new models from Chinese manufacturers may reshape market dynamics soon.
