Toyota Fortuner Prices Slashed in Pakistan: New Rates Announced

Toyota Indus Motors has announced a significant reduction in prices for its popular off-road SUV, the Toyota Fortuner.

The new rates make the vehicle up to PKR 2.5 million cheaper for buyers.

Sunil Manj from PakWheels explained in a podcast that the main reason for the price drop is a govt tax reduction, which reduced the price by around PKR 1.5 million.

The remaining PKR 1 million was cut by the company from its profit margin to benefit consumers.

Toyota Indus Motors CEO Ali Asghar Jamali confirmed that the tax cuts caused a major price difference, while the company also lowered its margin to make the SUV more affordable.

New Toyota Fortuner Prices:

Fortuner V: PKR 14,935,000 (PKR 2.57 million reduction)

Fortuner G: PKR 12,435,000 (PKR 2.5 million reduction)

He added that 55–65% of the Fortuner’s price consists of taxes, including 25% sales tax and 10% FED. The reduction in taxes enabled this overall price drop.
