Toyota’s New Car Arrives: What Is the Price? - Carr.pk

Japanese carmaker Toyota, in collaboration with FAW, unveiled a significantly updated Corolla Sedan this week at the Guangzhou Motor Show, with the model scheduled for launch later this month.

The new model features major changes to the exterior design, a high-tech digital driver’s display, and improved engine options to keep it competitive globally.

The most notable update is at the front, inspired by Toyota’s latest Camry and Prius models, giving the Corolla a sharper and more premium appearance.

While the rear remains largely unchanged with its dark-colored tail lights retained, the vehicle’s overall size has been slightly increased.

Inside, the driver’s area has been upgraded, replacing the analog instrument panel with an 8.8-inch digital display, paired with a new 12.9-inch high-resolution infotainment screen.

Toyota is also including full Toyota Pilot assist features even in base models, signaling a move to standardize technology across variants.

The new model comes with an advanced engine coupled with a hybrid system producing 98 horsepower.

Sales of Toyota’s new Corolla in China are expected to begin later this month, though pricing details have not yet been disclosed.

Experts suggest that the new China-made Corolla could influence Toyota’s strategy in Pakistan, putting increasing pressure on the local assembler, Indus Motor Company (IMC), to bring similar technological and design upgrades locally.

With Toyota expanding hybrid component production in the region, assembling Corolla hybrids in Pakistan becomes more feasible, potentially improving availability and reducing costs.
