Wafi Energy Pakistan Partners with Hyundai to Supply Premium Shell Lubricants

Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited has signed a strategic deal with Hyundai Nishat Motors to supply premium Shell lubricants across Pakistan. The agreement was finalized in Lahore.

The launch introduced Shell Helix HX8 0W-20 AH, a co-branded lubricant designed for Hyundai vehicles. It delivers engine protection, better fuel efficiency, and reliable performance on local roads.

This is the second co-branded lubricant under the Hyundai–Shell collaboration in Pakistan. Wafi Energy, an affiliate of Saudi Arabia’s Asyad Group, acquired about 87.78% of Shell Pakistan Limited in late 2024. The company rebranded SPL while keeping the Shell brand visible through licensing.

Hyundai Nishat Motors, a joint venture of Nishat Group, Japan’s Sojitz Corporation, and Millat Tractors Ltd., manufactures and distributes Hyundai vehicles in Pakistan. This partnership allows Hyundai owners to access OEM-approved lubricants easily.

Wafi Energy has retail stations in Karachi and Rawalpindi. The company also built a 730-foot road using 2.5 tons of recycled lubricant bottles outside its Karachi office, demonstrating its commitment to sustainability.
