The Sindh government along with the Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA), has launched a free scooty program in Hyderabad and Sukkur. This initiative aims to address transportation challenges for women, focusing on students and working women. 

Registration for the program is now open, allowing women in both cities to apply for a free scooty.

  • Duly filled form.

  • CNIC copy.

  • Domicile and PRC.

  • Phone number.

  • Email address.

  • Student or employee card.

  • A valid license.

Free Scooties for Women: A Practical Transportation Solution

Women in Hyderabad and Sukkur can apply for free scooties, designed to make daily commutes easier and more affordable. The program is aimed at helping women from diverse backgrounds, particularly those who face difficulties in accessing reliable transportation. By offering scooties, the initiative aims to reduce commuting time and expenses.

7-Day Training for Safe Riding

Along with receiving a scooty, participants will undergo a free 7-day training course. Certified instructors will teach basic scooty handling, traffic safety, road rules, and road etiquette. The training is designed to help women feel confident and capable while riding on busy streets.

Simplified Process for Obtaining a Driver’s License

The initiative also assists women in obtaining their driver’s licenses. The Sindh government will provide support for the licensing process, including paperwork assistance and guidance for the road test. This support ensures that women can legally operate their scooties.
