This represents a 28-40% increase over last year’s performance, according to reports from 36Kr and a company source, confirmed by Reuters.

The target underscores XPeng’s momentum in China’s competitive EV landscape, backed by Volkswagen investments and a focus on intelligent driving tech.

XPeng closed 2025 with strong results, surpassing expectations through popular models and expanding market reach. 

The company now plans aggressive expansion, including doubling overseas sales and establishing localized supply chains in Europe and the ASEAN regions (Southeast Asian nations).

Reports indicate XPeng will launch four new SUV models in 2026 to fuel this growth, alongside advancements in extended-range electric vehicles (EREVs) to address range concerns.

The automaker is also shifting toward “physical AI,” with robotaxi trials, the production of humanoid robots, and autonomous-driving rollouts planned.
