Get Your Driving License Anytime: Test Centers Now Open 24/7 in Punjab

In early November, the Punjab government announced a strict crackdown on traffic violations, warning that FIRs would be registered against unlicensed motorists. Following this announcement, and to facilitate citizens in obtaining driving licenses, the government has revised the operating hours for test centers across the province.

In major cities like Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Multan, licensing centers will now operate 24 hours a day, extended from the previous timing of 8:00 AM to 11:30 PM. Similarly, in smaller cities, working hours have been extended from 8:00 AM to 12:00 midnight.

The Traffic Police Punjab also confirmed that citizens can obtain a learner’s permit online through the DLIMS website. After passing the driving test, an e-license is issued immediately and can also be downloaded via the DLIMS portal.
