Good News for Karachi Citizens Regarding E-Challan Fines
Karachi residents are likely to receive major relief before Ramadan. The Sindh government has begun considering reducing the fine rate for e-challans by half.
According to sources, the e-challan fine for motorcycles may be reduced from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 2,500, while fines for cars up to 1000cc are also expected to be cut by 50%.
A final decision will be made next week in a special committee meeting chaired by the Sindh Home Minister. After the approval in next week’s committee meeting, the official notification will be issued.
