Islamabad Expands M-Tag Facilities, Adds New Center at Rawat
Islamabad authorities have expanded M-Tag services in Islamabad to improve convenience for vehicle owners. The Office of the Deputy Commissioner issued the advisory on January 22, 2026.
The administration now offers M-Tag services in Islamabad around the clock at two locations. These include 26 No. Chungi and the 17 Mile Phagraan Toll Plaza. Citizens can visit these centers any day, at any hour.
Officials also extended service hours at popular public locations. The M-Tag centers at Kachnar Park in Sector I-8 and F-9 Park now remain open until 12:00 AM.

Authorities have added a new M-Tag services in Islamabad center at Rawat. The facility operates at the bus stop on the main expressway outside the Institute of Space Technology. With this addition, the total number of M-Tag centers in the capital has reached 19.

Officials reminded motorists that M-Tags remain mandatory for vehicles entering Islamabad. Automated readers operate at multiple entry points to ensure compliance and reduce traffic delays.
