New Private Airline Set to Begin Operations in Pakistan
A new private airline, Air Karachi, is preparing to enter Pakistan’s aviation market, with flight operations expected to begin in May or June 2026. The Pakistan Airports Authority has coordinated with the carrier and completed all necessary arrangements ahead of the launch.
The airline has finalized aircraft leasing agreements and will start by operating domestic routes, connecting major cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Sukkur, Multan, Quetta, and Peshawar.
Officials said that after establishing its domestic network, Air Karachi plans to expand to international destinations within a year. The entry of this airline is expected to increase competition in Pakistan’s aviation sector and provide passengers with more travel choices across the country.
