Punjab Bans All High-Intensity Vehicle Lights
The authorities have imposed a ban on the use of all types of high-intensity lights in vehicles.
According to the official notification, the use of laser lights and modified headlights has also been prohibited.
The notification highlighted that high-beam lights are causing traffic accidents, and their use at night poses a serious risk to human life.

The sale and purchase of high-beam lights have also been banned. Violations of this ban will be dealt with under Section 188 of the law.
The administration says the purpose of the ban is to protect the lives and property of citizens and to improve the traffic system, while police and relevant departments have been instructed to ensure strict enforcement.
