Train Services from Balochistan to Across Pakistan Suspended — Here’s Why - Carr.pk

Balochistan train service suspended once again, disrupting travel between the province and other parts of the country. Pakistan Railways cancelled the Jaffar Express bound for Peshawar and the Chaman Passenger train on Tuesday, citing unavoidable reasons.

Railway officials said the Jaffar Express coming from Peshawar will be sent back from Jacobabad. No clear timeline has been shared for the restoration of services.

This is the second suspension in recent days, as Balochistan train service suspended earlier as well for routes connecting Quetta with inland cities and Chaman.

Officials previously revealed that the repeated closure of operations has caused losses exceeding Rs30 million to Pakistan Railways.
